We're back for our third year and this is going to be the best show yet!

Taking place at Edgbaston Stadium within the ground’s exhibition hall, banqueting, suite and function rooms with the capacity to cater to over 5,000 visitors, the event promises to encompass an international spectrum of the comics book world with special guests and publishers from across the breadth of Europe, the United States of America, and Great Britain itself; some rarely witnessed at conventions before and others that will be making their UK debut.

With well over 200 traders being scheduled to attend the diverse range of merchandise, publications, rare books, original art, plus the latest titles hot of the press alongside convention exclusives will ensure that collectors and fans of all ages will find something to put a smile on all their faces. 

And there will be a whole lot more to do than shop!   We'll have a range of displays and exhibits plus some extra special surprises thrown in for good measure!  Events that can be revealed so far include a range of panel discussions including interviews with star guests and creators, professional critiques from publishers and editors, through to competitions and activities for all – with cosplayers expected in full regalia and an all-important inclusivity guaranteed to make sure kids aren’t left out of on having any of the fun!

The Birmingham Comic Con 2017 will be a day not to be missed and wherever you’re coming from you won’t need to worry about parking as the venue has a huge car park, catering for over 600 vehicles – More importantly will parking will be FREE to those attending the event (Subject to availability)   And if you forget those sandwiches and bottles of water, fear not, because the cafeteria within the venue will have both hot and cold food and drinks on sale all day.  The disabled friendly facility has washrooms and there is seating upstairs for you to chill and relax during your visit.  For more information about our venue please visit

The nearest main-line railway stations, situated approximately 1 mile from the ground, are Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Snow Hill. Taxi services are readily available. Bus numbers 45 and 47 from the City Centre run along Pershore Road (A441).

From M6

Leave at Junction 6, follow signs for "A38(M) City Centre" and then "A38 South West" through Queensway Tunnel, turn left at 1st set of traffic lights and then right at the roundabout onto the A441 (Pershore Road). Turn left on to Edgbaston Road at the cross roads.

From Redditch

A441 through Kings Norton, Cotteridge and Stirchley. Turn right at Edgbaston Road (B4217) traffic lights, the ground is situated on your left.

From Wolverhampton

A4123 and A456 (Hagley Road) to Five Ways island. Follow signs to Moseley and Edgbaston along the A450 until joining Pershore Road (A441). Turn left onto Edgbaston Road at the cross roads (B4217) and again into the Main Entrance.

From M40

Join M42 (M42 west and M5), leaving at Junction 3. Follow A435 towards Birmingham, through Kings Heath and turn left onto Salisbury Road (B4217), which become Edgbaston Road. Turn right into the Edgbaston Main Entrance.

From Solihull-Stratford

Leave Stratford Road (A34) at College Road (B4217) which becomes Wake Green Road, Salisbury Road and finally Edgbaston Road. Turn right into Edgbaston's Main Entrance.

From Worcester / Bromsgrove

A38 or M5 (leave at Junction 4) through Northfield and Selly Oak, turning right at Priory Road traffic lights onto Edgbaston Road (B4217). Edgbaston is situated on your left after crossing the next set of traffic lights.

Car Parking

Our official car park will be clearly signed from the approach roads and has space for 600 vehicles subject to availability.  The Police do not permit parking on many of the local streets.
